We passed towns and villages and even a group of sailors out for an afternoon sail. We also were surprised to see the Singer Castle, built in 1905 by the owner of the sewing machine company of the same name. 47 stories high! Iroquois is the first of 3 locks we plan to go through tomorrow as we continue down the St. Lawrence.
