Rimouski was another good stop for us. The sailors in the marina were very friendly. We even met another couple from Quebec that will be following behind us in a few weeks. The town had everything we needed, allowing us to complete our battery project and enjoy a great dinner.

We got a leisurely start this morning, leaving the marina about 9:30. This allowed us to fill our tanks with water and fuel. We also got to watch some of the activities associated with a regatta.

We had good wind in the morning and were able to sail. First with both main and jib, later with just the jib. The wind finally petered out, and we started motoring.

We’re going to push on overnight, hoping to drop anchor mid-day tomorrow. We will pass the most northerly point of our exodus, and the northernmost part of the Appalachian mountains tonight!
