After 10 days in an Airbnb near the shipyard, Jim was finally able to return to Guidance Friday morning. The boat had been out of the water for maintenance, including routine engine maintenance and bottom paint. The boat had never needed bottom paint in Lake Superior due to the cold water and short seasons which kept growth to a minimum.
